Claude for Life Sciences
Let’s talk

Put Claude to work across your life sciences organization

Trackmind helps R&D, clinical ops, regulatory, and quality teams connect Claude to their existing systems, build custom workflows, and put clear guardrails in place.

Getting AI right in life sciences

AI is starting to change how science gets done. In life sciences, it only works when people can trust it.

Scientists who know how to use it

We work with your scientists until they’re comfortable with Claude: what it does well, where it falls short, and how to check its work.

Guardrails before anything scales

We set what Claude can see, what it can touch, and who signs off, so results stay checkable and your data stays protected.

More time for the science

Your teams move faster, make better-informed decisions, and get more out of the data and expertise they already have.

What we connect Claude to

Your scientists move data between databases, write one-off scripts and check whether cluster jobs ran. Claude can take on that work once it’s connected to your lab systems. If a system has an API or database access, we can connect Claude to it.

Benchling and lab notebooks

We build connectors as MCP servers or secure REST APIs, so Claude can read experiment records, sample metadata and results in context.

Includes MCP servers · Secure REST APIs · Experiment records · Sample metadata

LIMS and lab databases

Claude reads from your LIMS and internal scientific databases, including proprietary SQL stores.

Business systems

Includes SAP · Salesforce · Veeva

Literature and compute

Claude Science, Anthropic’s research environment for scientists, connects to more than 60 public scientific databases, including PubMed, Open Targets and ClinicalTrials.gov. It runs jobs on your Slurm cluster or cloud, and asks for approval before it uses new computing resources.

Includes PubMed · Open Targets · ClinicalTrials.gov · Slurm or cloud

Quality and clinical systems

We build connectors to clinical data and statistical computing environments, and to quality-management and complaint systems, so Claude works from your systems of record.

How GxP and HIPAA data is handled

Where your data lives Your raw data and compute stay on your own systems.

Your raw data and compute stay on your own systems. For wider rollouts we deploy inside your security boundary on AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI or the Anthropic API.

Results you can check

In Claude Science, each figure and table comes with the code and environment that produced it, so anyone on your team can rerun the analysis. In other setups, outputs are reviewed against their sources before they’re used.

A person signs off

Critical actions, writes to your databases and anything that leaves the company wait for explicit human approval.

GxP and health data We work within your GxP process.

We work within your GxP process. A qualified person on your team approves any output used in a GxP record. Health data stays under your controls and the agreements you have in place.

How a 30 to 90 day Claude pilot runs

Most pilots run 30 to 90 days on one workflow your team already runs, using a limited, approved dataset.

  1. Step 1: Set up and train

Pick the workflow, agree on the dataset and install Claude where your data lives. Your scientists get hands-on sessions built around their own research questions.

Sign-offBefore any regulated data is used, your sponsor approves the baseline we’ll measure against, and your quality and privacy teams complete their review.

  2. Step 2: Connect and check

Build the connectors the workflow needs. Review outputs with your team, rerun steps and test another approach when something looks off.

What countsDuring the pilot, we count only completed work: signed deliverables, filed reports and signed-out cases.

  3. Step 3: Decide

Save each validated analysis as a reusable skill. Write up what worked and what didn’t, then decide whether to scale.

What you getAt the end, we build a value summary with your finance team so you can decide whether to scale.

Who does the work. Trackmind engineers build and run the pilot alongside your team, and your people get hands-on training along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can set up Claude for life sciences research on our lab data?

Trackmind connects Claude to Benchling, electronic lab notebooks, your LIMS and lab databases. Most pilots run 30 to 90 days on one workflow and a limited dataset. A scientist signs off before anything goes into a report.

Can Claude connect to Benchling?

Yes. We build connectors from Claude to Benchling and your lab databases as MCP servers or secure REST APIs. Each group sees what it’s approved to see.

Can we use Claude with GxP or HIPAA data?

We work within your GxP process and your data agreements. Your raw data stays on your systems. A qualified person on your team approves any output used in a GxP record. For HIPAA data, we work under your controls and the agreements you have in place.

How do we check that a Claude result is right?

It depends on the setup. In Claude Science, Anthropic’s research environment for scientists, every result carries the code and environment behind it, so anyone on your team can rerun it. In other setups, a person on your team reviews Claude’s output against the source before it’s used. Either way, we train scientists to check Claude’s work the way they’d check a colleague’s.

Do we have to rebuild our validated pipelines?

No. We connect Claude to the pipelines you already use and save them as reusable skills.

What Claude plan do we need?

Claude Science needs a Claude Team or Enterprise plan.

Which workflow should we start with?

Start with the queue that has the longest backlog and a clear owner. Most teams pick a process where they already track turnaround time.

Who is accountable for what Claude produces?

Your team. Claude prepares the work, and your reviewers make the decisions.
